Happy July

Happy July, everyone!! Wow! Where did this year go, right? May we all continue striving to make the best of each moment. Moments that we can look back and cherish. This is a recurring theme for me, as I stated in the previous letter, Our Tables Hold More Than Food. One of my supporters recognized that this is from my 2024 Food + Stories presentation, as well as from the beginning of this year.

That letter was in reply to an email I received. When I read it, my first thought was, I'm not going to get upset. That solves nothing. It can create a back-and-forth cycle that's beneficial to no one. I've replied before in frustration, and it did not feel good. It can make things worse. I'm so overjoyed to say that the person who emailed me reached back out,

"Thank you. I know that was a reply to my message. I receive it." (The person is okay with me sharing this, by the way. Lol.)

My goal has always been to bring light. I want your visit to Love, Jane to be one of your ways of escapism from the noise in this world. Have you seen my quote on the homepage?
